Worried?
Everybody worries.
The concept of worry is an example of negative imagery, and it creeps up easily. Most of us can imagine events happening inside of our bodies. Many times the images come in the form of worry; perhaps we have a symptom that frightens us, like pain. We imagine something inside our bodies is going wrong. This usually makes the symptom worsen, which in turn causes a greater intensity of the symptoms. A powerful cycle of pain and anxiety is the result.
With imagery, we can imagine the good just as well. Lack of practice might keep us from doing it as effortlessly as we do when we worry, BUT if we take that negative thought process and turn it into a positive thought process, we absolutely can overcome symptoms such as illness and pain.
We can promote self healing instead.
